Firstly, it’s important to note that flights to the Amazon often arrive in the morning, landing in Leticia before 3 pm. Depending on your schedule, we can recommend a maximum of five days in the Amazon, including a comprehensive three-day tour.
Five-Day Amazon Adventure
For those with ample time, a five-day trip to the Amazon allows for a full three-day tour. Starting on the second day at 6:30 am and ending on the fourth day at 5 pm, this tour offers an immersive Amazon experience. Regardless of your arrival and departure times, three days in the Amazon is more than enough to enjoy an excellent tour.

Four-Day Amazon Escape
If you’re short on time, a four-day into the Amazonas is still sufficient for a memorable tour. However, if you wish to start the tour on your arrival day, it’s recommended to catch a flight that lands in Leticia before 11:30 am. This allows enough time for lunch and a 1:30 pm transfer to the boat for the start of your tour.
The following options are when you fly to Leticia for 4 days which is also enough and we have design special plans:
Option A: Four Day Jungle Tour – Arriving Early to Leticia and Departure to Bogota later than 11:30 am on the fourth day
Must arrive before 11:30 am so we can start trip at 1:30 pm, we will return on the fourth day at 9 am and must have the returning flight to Bogota or other destination after 11:30 am. This is an Amazing and recommended jungle tour in the Amazonian Region.
Option B: Three day Trip – Early Arrival to Leticia and Departure from Leticia before 11:00 am to another destination
If your flight arrives in Leticia early, you can start your tour on the first day with the 1:30 pm public boat. The tour ends on the third day at 5:00 pm, leaving you free to stay in a hotel in Leticia and transfer to the airport the next day for an early flight.
Option C: Four-Day Late Arrival to Leticia Option
If you’re staying for four days but arriving late on the first day, we recommend starting your tour at 6:30 am on the second day. The tour ends at 9 am on the fourth day, so it’s important to book a flight after 11:30 am for a timely return to Leticia.
Three-Day Amazon Quick Trip
For those with limited time, a three-day trip is possible. However, it’s crucial to arrive before 11:30 am on the first day to start the tour at 1:30 pm. Your return flight on the third day should be after 11:30 am to ensure a smooth transfer to the airport.
