Confirmed Departures
Our tours start every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7 am. Therefore, it’s crucial to arrive a day prior to the tour. The tour lasts for 3 days, concluding at 5 pm on the third day. For instance, if the tour starts on Tuesday, it ends on Thursday at 5 pm. If it begins on Thursday, it concludes on Saturday at 5 pm, and if it commences on Saturday, it ends on Tuesday at 5 pm. It is advisable to plan your return travel for a day after the tour ends. Remember, Avianca and LATAM are two airlines operating flights from various parts of Colombia to Leticia, with a stopover in Bogota.

Amazon River High Water Season – Three Day Trip from February until Late June (Click to Expand)
1st Day – Pink and Grey Dolphin Spotting and Monkey Adventure:
- Pickup: Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Leticia and taken to the port, where our staff will be waiting to organize the public boat transfer from Leticia to Puerto Nariño.
- Arrival: The journey can last around two hours, and our staff, along with a translator, will be waiting at the port to escort guests to their accommodation.
- Morning: The first activity is a pink and gray dolphin watching tour on one of our company’s boats.
- Lunch: Enjoy a delicious typical lunch.
- Afternoon: Take a guided jungle walk to explore the region’s flora and fauna. The jungle trail is accessible throughout the year.
- Nighttime: Embark on a thrilling nocturnal walk to observe tarantulas, insects, and nocturnal wildlife.
2nd Day – Adventure in Peru and sailing the Tarapoto Lakes:
- Morning: After a fulfilling breakfast, Sail along the Amazon River to reach the Peruvian community of San Antonio. Enjoy a jungle hike, wildlife spotting, and a traditional lunch with the indigenous community.
- Afternoon: Navigate the Loretoyacu River and visit the Tarapoto Lakes to observe more pink dolphins, bird watching and animals on the shore. Try your hand at artisanal piranha fishing.
- Nighttime: embark on a nocturnal boat safari to spot wildlife at the lake and shore.
3rd Day – Kayak and Return to Leticia Amazonas:
- Morning: After breakfast, embark on a kayaking adventure in the flooded jungle to explore the varzea area. Discover lakes, observe wildlife, and enjoy a typical lunch. Head to the Puerto Nariño viewpoint for panoramic views.
- Departure: At 3 pm, the boat will depart for Leticia, arriving back at 3 pm.

For couples booking the tour, we bring together groups of up to 6 people, accompanied by their own guide and translator. When it comes to private groups of friends or families, the number of participants doesn’t matter. What to Bring to your Amazon Jungle Tour
A small day sack (25-30L) is sufficient for a 3 or 4-day tour. We can store your larger bag in the office. The following list is advisory only, wear whatever you think will make you feel comfortable! Bear in mind that black clothing can attract more mosquitoes so, if possible, bring lighter colored clothing.
- 2 x long sleeve tops

- Walking boots/shoes. Yes, trainers are ok. Flip flops for relaxing.
